In 1996 Gary founded New Frontier Consulting, Inc. to provide technical consulting, network management, and technical training. The Houston based company was a leader in advanced networking and management.

In 2004 Gary sold NFC to Global 1 Source Group and became the CIO and head of “expert delivery” for the company.

He was formerly a technical visionary at Shell Oil Company. During his tenure at Shell, Gary was responsible for designing and implementing global network solutions.

Gary has provided a visionary role in the recent migration to converged networks. With a strong technical background in both Voice and Data Networking solutions, he has provided VOIP consulting to Cisco Systems, and is an early adopter of IP Telephony and converged solutions. Gary has been a featured speaker at Networld+Interop, Comdex, and ITEC for technical topics including ATM Theory, Frame Relay, Voice over IP, ADSL, and others.

Has taught graduate level IT curriculum at the University of Houston and served as an advisor for a number of not for profit organizations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University
